    • Having grown up in Southern California, I've always had a passion for exercise and fitness in almost any form!

      From mountain biking, soccer, hiking, roller blading; or just shooting hoops with the kids, we were always an active family. Seeing the positive impact exercise had on my kids, I decided to become an elementary school physical education coach. As far as I was concerned, this was a dream job; I got to spend every day doing what I loved while making a positive difference in someone's life. My decision was an easy one; fitness was something that would become my career.

    • I received my personal training certification through the American Fitness and Aerobics Association

      followed up by certifications from The Cooper Institute in Biomechanics of Resistance Training and Fitness Specialist for Older Adults; plus certifications in Pilates, Kickboxing and BOSU Integrated Balance Training. My strength training programs are based on balance and core strength; and are custom designed to meet my client's needs. And since horseback riding is my passion and free time activity, I also design fitness programs for riders.

    • I believe that a healthy lifestyle is more than just a choice; it's a necessity!

    • Massage at Main Street Gym is performed by Ron Johnson, NCTMB, LMT, BA, AS, AA.

      Ron is bodywork and massage practitioner who is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage. He studied 23 modalities at Utah College of Massage, where he received his degree to practice massage therapy. Ron has been a practicing massage therapist for 18 years. Throughout his career, he has been closely associated with chiropractic and therapy practices, practicing medical massage. He has experience with many different muscular conditions.

      Our FREE Fitness Tracker Program is available to all members. This program helps members track their weight loss and fitness progress. Our trained staff takes your initial weight, body fat and girth measurements which are entered into our gym software program. You get a friendly monthly reminder when you check in that your re-measurements are due. At your request we can print quarterly or semi-annual progress reports

Child Care

      Main Street Gym offers KidsCare child care services so your kids can have safe, supervised fun while you achieve your fitness goals.

    • Our KidsCare attendants will closely supervise your children at all times while they play games, watch movies, color, play with toys, and meet new friends.

      Our staff can easily page you in the club if needed. All KidsCare attendants are CPR certified and go through special child care training that includes monitoring children, safe play, disciplining, sanitizing, and child secure check in/out.

    • Meanwhile, you'll get the exercise you need - and some well-deserved "me" time.

      We'll focus on the kids while you focus on working out.

  • Policies

    • All employees working in the KidsCare program go through training to include monitoring children, safe play, disciplining, sanitizing, and child secure check in/out.

      All employees must have a current CPR certification to include treatment of children

    • Criminal background checks are performed on all KidsCare attendants.

      Main Street Gym staff employees that may have any contact with the children in the KidsCare area must have a criminal background check on file.

    • The parent who signs the child in is the ONLY one who can sign that child out.

      A parent may designate an alternate person to pick up the child by giving written permission. This person must show identification.

    • The KidsCare area is sanitized regularly and frequently throughout the day.

      All tables/benches/chairs and toys are disinfected with an environmental safe disinfectant.

    • All children are monitored closely for safe play.

      No climbing is allowed on chairs/tables.

    • Parents may provide child with a closed drinking container/bottle of water, milk or juice.

      Each child's drinking container must be labeled with the child's name. Food will not be allowed in consideration that some children may have food allergies.

    • The maximum time a child can be kept in KidsCare is 90 or 120 minutes, depending on your KidsCare membership type.

      There is an additional $1 fee for each minute a child is not picked up after the 90- or 120-minute period.

    • Parents will be notified if their child becomes ill and the parent must take the child immediately.

      Sick children are not allowed in the KidsCare area.

    • Main Street Gym will not administer medication.

    • KidsCare staff will not change diapers or assist small children in using the restroom.

      If the child requires restroom assistance the parent will be called.

    • Children must wear socks/shoes at all times.

    • Children between the ages of 15 months and 5 years are eligible to participate in the KidsCare program

    • KidsCare hours of operation

      are Monday - Friday: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday - Thursday: 4:00 pm-7:30 pm, Saturday: 8:00 am-11:00 am.

You can choose to pay for your membership annually and save 20%. Looking for less of an investment, but still like a bargain? Sign up for our monthly bank draft plan and you still save more than 10%. Afraid of commitment? That's okay. We offer a contract-free, month-to-month membership. More Ways to Save: Main Street Gym loves Midlothian.
